Komal Jha is a known face in the acting world particularly in South Indian films apart from the B Town to some extent. She was born and brought in Ranchi, Jharkhand and was born on 15th of March 1987 in a non-filmy family. She did her schooling from Jawahar Vidya Mandir formerly known as DAV Shyamli, Ranchi, while went to pursue her civil engineering from MSRIT, Bangalore completing her Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE). She was her Department Topper and Rank holder of Environmental Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering. She then headed to work in different companies including Model Engineering Construction Firm and then headed to Dubai to work Right Bond Trading LLC, Dubai. Soon, she resigned from her UAE based job to head to Mumbai to become an actress.
Career
Komal Jha made her acting debut in 2009 with Bollywood the film 3 Idiots, in which she had a minor role of a college student featuring in the song “All Is Well!” She was not an actor by profession then and left for Dubai as she was on campus, placed by a construction company there. After her Malayalam debut Jha did two Telugu films, namely Kalachakram and Parvathi, which did not release and were shelved. Disappointed by the projects getting shelved, Jha left for Dubai and just when she decided to not indulge in this futility.
She was offered two movies in two different languages namely, Nimbe Huli and Ramachari in Kannada and Telugu respectively. Jha was not satisfied with the overall success of both the films owing to the delay in the release dates. A Kannada film which was under the banner of Mukta Arts has made her the best celebrity in Sandalwood Industry as it reached an all-time high of 80,000+ views.
Apart from the daily routines of acting, she has also written many poetries and has published the same and also has worked for an orphanage to collect funds by auctioning her designer made dresses.
