Kabali is an upcoming 2016 Indian Tamil-language film written and directed by Pa. Ranjith. The film stars Rajinikanth, Radhika Apte, Kishore, Kalaiyarasan, Dhansika, and Dinesh Ravi. Principal photography for the film began on 21 August 2015 in Chennai, while filming mostly occurred in Malaysia, as well as Bangkok and Hong Kong.
Kabali is Rajnikanth’s 159th film and he will be playing the character of a don. Rajini’s previous avatar as a don was in the 1994 movie Baasha in which he portrayed a stylish Mumbai based don. The movie was a massive hit.
